The Specs

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus operate on the powerful A16 Bionic chip, which includes a 6-core CPU and a 5-core GPU. Each of these standard models offers storage capacities of 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB as well.

The Pro models benefit significantly from increased computing capabilities. This improvement comes from the introduction of Apple's latest A17 Pro chip with a 6-core CPU and a 6-core GPU. The iPhone 15 Pro comes in four different storage capacities - 128 GB, 256 GB, 415 GB, and 1 TB, whereas the entry-level Pro Max version begins at 256 GB and escalates to a 1 TB maximum.

The Display

Although 2023 doesn't herald revolutionary changes in display technology, the standard iPhone 15 model still impresses with its 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR screen. This is upgraded to a 6.7-inch display for the iPhone 15 Plus variant.

The Pro and Pro Max screens measure 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches correspondingly, each incorporating ProMotion technology for adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz, haptic touch features, a coating resistant to fingerprints, and a standard contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1.

The Price

How much does it cost to purchase the newest iPhone versions? The initial model of the iPhone 15 is priced at $799 for the 128GB configuration, and the iPhone 15 Plus is available starting at $899. The cost escalates with larger storage capacities.

The Pro versions are more costly, with the iPhone 15 Pro beginning at $999 and the Pro Max at $1,199. For the highest tier, the 1 TB Pro Max model, the price reaches $1,599, maintaining the same peak price as last year.

Battery Life

Introduced in the current lineup is the incorporation of a USB-C port in every iPhone 15 variant. Moreover, the batteries now utilize entirely recycled cobalt, advancing Apple's tradition and dedication to sustainable practices.

The entry-level iPhone 15 offers a battery capacity that supports around 20 hours of video playback, whereas the superior Pro Max variant delivers as much as 29 hours of video playback. Additionally, using a 20W adapter, the most recent iPhones are capable of reaching a 50% charge in about 30 to 35 minutes.

The Cameras

Exclusively, the iPhone 15 is equipped with a dual-lens camera on the back. The other versions utilize a triple-lens configuration which comprises a 48MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens that supports 3X optical zoom.
